About Design System Dock
An independent directory of real-world product design systems — built so designers and engineers can see how other teams actually solved the problem in front of them.
Our mission
Design System Dock catalogs the documented components, patterns, and guidelines that teams at companies like Apple, Google, Atlassian, and hundreds of others actually ship with. Studying how other teams solved the same interface problem is one of the fastest ways to get better at solving your own — but that reference material is scattered across hundreds of separate style guides, Figma files, and internal wikis. Design System Dock collects it in one searchable place.
Design System Dock is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of the companies or design systems listed. All product names, logos, and brands referenced here remain the property of their respective owners; every entry links back to its original source.
Methodology and corrections
Every design system is organized by industry, design tool, and platform so you can quickly find relevant precedent: how a fintech company builds its date pickers, how a social platform handles empty states, or which teams publish a public Figma kit you can study.
The Components tab goes one level deeper, letting you compare how the same component — a button, a modal, a data table — is designed across systems side by side, with live, interactive previews where available. We only list design systems with public, linkable documentation, so every entry traces back to a source you can verify yourself.
Catalog data is maintained in the project repository from public design-system websites and component documentation. Canonical component mappings group similar roles; native names, lifecycle and source links remain visible. Live preview coverage is a separate, curated subset. Missing data means unknown coverage. There is no fixed review cadence.
To request a correction, open a catalog issue with the page URL, the incorrect field and an official source. The independent maintainer reviews proposed changes against those sources before updating the catalog.

Data sources & freshness
Entries are community-sourced from publicly available design system documentation, style guides, and component libraries, and new ones are added on an ongoing basis. Design System Dock is a discovery and comparison tool, not a mirror — each listed company updates its own design system on its own schedule, so always check the original source before relying on version-specific details in production. See the FAQ for more on how data is collected.
Who's behind it
Design System Dock is designed and maintained independently — not by a company or agency — crafted in Seattle out of wanting a faster way to browse design system precedent while working on product design day to day. Spotted an error or have a design system worth adding? Use the correction link above to suggest an update with its public source.
